About Bar Soap Natural

Mike and Erin (1976) on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, were destined to join forces to clean up the world.
The Natural Bar Soap Company is excited to be a family owned and operated business dedicated to the creation of high quality, fun to use, great to smell bars of unique, handmade, all natural soap. We carefully formulate each of our soap recipes (no pre-made base, here!) to maximize all the best qualities of old fashioned, cold-process, lye soap. Every one-of-a-kind bar of our handcrafted olive oil soap is a lusciously lathering, bubbly bar of all natural goodness for your skin! Why all natural? Because we can, and because natural soap ingredients make incredible soap!
It was practically instinctual for us to join forces and market my handmade, natural soaps online.
Erin's addiction to soap making has its roots in her college years. She's quite the science geek, and spent years in college "playing" in chem labs, particularly favoring organic chemistry. She would truly miss all the experimenting, measuring and mixing if she couldn't make soap with her soap hobby. Her brother Michael is an internet genius, who would rather be on a computer than doing anything else (well, maybe not quite)! He really dreams of abandoning civilization, and relocating to the remote American west (with a big supply of natural soap). Until then, he works tirelessly to keep our website in optimum shape, develop our SEO, and remind Erin that there's more to this business than just "playing" with soap.
The great thing about natural soap, is that it's fun to make, and it's the healthy way to clean your skin. Thanks to the convenience of the internet, we're on a mission to introduce everyone to the skin-friendly benefits of all natural, handmade soap. With our wide range of recipes and scents, we're certain there's a bar for every body. We're pretty sure you'll become addicted once you try your first bar!
The increasing demand for natural products- especially for skin care, keeps us pretty busy. We're always doing something soapy around here. We're developing new lines of bath products, discovering new natural colorants and scents, and of course, creating new bar soap recipes and bulking up our inventory of best sellers. Each loaf of freshly poured soap rests for one to two days before being hand cut into individual bars. Finally, the new bar soaps will need to cure for a minimum of 4 weeks before becoming ready for use. It's quite a lengthy process, but it's an adventure, and we believe it's worth it.
It's incredible how many soaps you can make with an assortment of natural ingredients. The variety of scents, the colors...There's no reason to use harsh detergent bars and synthetic cleansers on your body when nature has provided so many wonderful and effective ingredients.
Repeat business, and testimonials from customers assure us we're on the right track.
To all of you, from our family at The Natural Bar Soap Company, BarSoapNatural.com, thank you for your interest in our handmade natural soaps.
