Handcrafted soaps are made even more unique with custom blends of essential oils. These precious liquids contain volatile compounds that are responsible for the distinct scent of a particular plant. Distillation is often used to extract these aromatic compounds from their parent plant. One or more essential oils can be added to the soap mixture, often blending base, mid and high notes for a balanced blend. We will soon be carrying a selection of high quality essential oils that will give good results in cold processed soaps.
